Looks like Baxi have lost the poll. I put the poll in the combustion chamber as only those with any knowledge of the subject could vote. I'm not aware of any bbu's been fitted in my area post 2003 and even if an exception was made I think a wall mounted (non condensing) boiler would be fitted in prefence to an old fashioned open flued and very inefficent bbu!

Why post 2003 as the rule came in ,in 2005 . Know most of northants and back boilers where gettin fitted well after condensing rule came in. Are you south ,north or east

(post 2003 because most people with common sense seen the writing on the wall for bbu's and moved with the times)

Don`t talk nonsence , simple you got your dates wrong. Cover most of northants my arse if you went to kettering corby east northants rothwell desborough . large parts of wellingborough then back boilers where in the majority .
Northampton was warm air country for many years due to J/S

most bbu's are being replaced for combi's. J&S factory is 3miles from my house. Kettering, Desborough, Rothwell are all in my area and I hardly see a bbu-far less than 1 a month.

I work for a large company and that's the truth- i rarely see bbu's. 80% of my work is wall mounted and alot new build/under 15yrs old.

Because your talking nonsence if you are only working on one make of boiler and it is glowworm which had a tiny tiny percentage of the back boiler market you clearly don`t know what your talking about regards the saturation of back boilers in these towns.

glow worm were the 2nd largest producer of bbu's in the uk.
