Hello and good morning,

I would like to replace an aged Potterton PRT2 with a EMOS P5604 boiler thermostat.

It's frying my brain trying to work out the wiring, can anyone please help?

Photos is the manual of the new thermostat, and the current one on the wall.

Thankyou in advance for any help.

From old thermostat to new:

L (brown) to L
N (Grey with blue sleeve) to N
Switch live (black with brown sleeve) to NO

No need for link

So just to confirm by the new thermostat,

3 NO - black / brown sleeve
2 COM - brown
1 NC - grey / blue sleeve

Really appreciate your reply thankyou
No, that’s not what I’ve written, nothing goes in NC. There’s also no terminal 1 on either thermostat. That said, I’ve re-read the instructions and seems you only need com and NO. Terminate N in a connector block, and use L (brown to Com) and black to NO.
