Replacing Plasterboard

Hi, I'm currently renovating a bathroom and the old plasterboard came off with the tiles !
I need to fix some more sheets up to fill the gaps, around 900 x 1200 sheets.
The thing is that all the old "dot and dabs" are still on the breeze block and solid. What are your thoughts on just fixing the new sheets to the existing dot and dabs with such as "pinkgrip" or "nonails" or some such adhesive?

If your plasterboard came off so easily then it looks like you should remove all the Dot&Dabbed p/b.
best practice is usually to go back to masonry but if any of the areas in question are wet surfaces over baths etc. then the backing is best in backer board of some kind - never plasterboard.
