Hi all,

I have an ageing potterton PRT2 room thermostat that I want to replace with a danfoss ret2001B (link https://store.danfoss.com/gb/en/Cli...-Off-modulating-control,-Batteries/p/087N6471) which I have at hand.

Are these compatible?
The wiring of the potterton is what I believe is standard (see picture), What would be the correct wiring for the ret2001B (see second picture)?
What would be the right wiring?
Would it be:
Red -> COM
Yellow -> NO
Blue -> nowhere (so I insulate it by itself)

Thanks for your help

Yeah, seems logical. Terminate blue into a connector block though.

Hi Chris, thanks for the rapid response and the feedback much appreciated.
Hopefully I will not blow up the boiler in this way :D

For the record, in case someone will find this thread while looking for a similar solution, I can confirm that I installed the thermostat as per connections described above and everything works fine
