Is it necessary to top up with corrosion inhibitor when replacing rad after decorating. If so how much?

For one rad it isn't necessary, but you should add another dose every couple of years ideally anyway. Use Fernox, Sentinel, Aqueous Logic, Kamco,... ie not a very cheap one.

Dear ChrisR
I wondered if you worked near Wimbledon as I need a new combi boiler in the next couple of weeks before a kitchen is put in which starts on May 21st. Someone else on this site recommended you but I do not know how to obtain your email address from the profile. Carrie.
