Hi all

I have a few pieces of rotting beading on my external windows (as you probably guessed from the title!)... In all cases it is the bottom piece, I guess because that's the one that sees the most water.

I have a couple of questions....

1. Is my beading a standard profile and should I be able to find it easily enough?

2. Is it possible to change just one piece of beading in a pane (the bottom piece in my case)? If so, does anyone have any tips on how best to do it?

Many thank

Max

Here's some old photos showing what the beading looks like:

They look like John carr windows, they no longer exist being bought by rugby joinery who also bought Boulton and paul, I believe some time after it was all bought by jeld-wen, you'll probably not get the exact same match, most supplied now will have a larger bottom bead with an over hang
