Anglian Water put one in FOC for a friend in 2007, indoor stoptap was seized, no apparent method of turning water off elsewhere. AW couldnt locate anything in street so fitted a control box on the property. They also did same for ex mother in law's mother last year. She was having work done and they couldnt turn water off inside so AW fitted a control box in the street. 1st case definately dont have a meter, 5 in 3 bed house, inc 2 teenagers!!!
