replacing switches on a loop system

Hi Can anyone help
have 2 light switches in the living room replaced one with dimmer that has 1 red 1 blue and one yellow set of wires, the other switch has 4 red 1 yellow and 1 blue want to replace this one with a normal switch but ain't sure the combination of the wires.

did you note what went where in the old switch? That would have been the easiest way, of course.

You aren't fitting 2 dimmers are you? this would be a bad idea, unless one is a master and the other a slave.
 
never took a note of what went were, only fitting one dimmer which works but other switch just now seems to complete the loop but does not switch on or off(the way i have put the wires together)

In the second switch, connect RYB from the single cable to the same terminals as in the dimmer (you may find COM replaced with ~ on the dimmer)

Now you have 2 reds. These are the switch return cables

(one is permenant live, the other is switched live - the end result of the 2 switches)

connect these 2 to L1 and L2. However, it may be nessecary to swap the dimmer with this switch, depending on how choosy the dimmer is about how its wired. Check the instructions to check this wiring appropriate.
