Seeking some advice here if anyone can help?

The bottom of the towel rail radiator is rotting out and thus needs replacing, the rot appears to be above the pipe

I'm trying to find a direct replacement for this towel radiator, I'd imagine it'll make life easier since I wouldn't need to replace/re drill for brackets and/or adjust pipework. I have searched the net for an identical unit but as such I haven't managed to source one. Anyone have an idea who might carry one or where to look?

The dimensions are 1498 mm X 500mm

If these units are no longer in production, would the above dimensions allow something similar to fit directly on to the pipework? The brackets would be easier to alter than the plumbing.

All comments appreciated. thanks :)

1600 x 500 seem to be readily available, I think you'd be unlucky if the fixings weren't ok.

I did see that 1600mm does seem to be readily available as you mention :) Would you say anything that's 500mm in width should fit straight on to the existing pipework?

if you are go 500 again get same curved as a straight one pipe centres might be slightly out .
Whoever originally fitted it that close to floor needs a slap ;)

Will do :)

That was somebody who wasn't completely proficient in the trade of plumbing who fitted the towel radiator :(
