apologies if this has been posted before or is in the wrong place but ive recently had an unfortunate situation whereby the police had to prise open one of my patio door windows with an axe (dont ask lol). the setup is very common - 2 doors 4 windows 2 of which open outwards. one of these is now obviously useless as the lock has been snapped an the upvc cracked and it will need replacing. it appears to be a seperate unit from the rest of the windows/doors. does anybody have any idea how much this will cost me? im assuming this is a very common problem as i'm sure thieves and the like would try this way to get in. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
