Hi have have some granite sets in my garden and they need repointing. I tried with a mortar gun that was ok at the start then jammed up so tried with a trowel but that was not good. Any tips advice for getting the job done and it looking half decent.
I presume you are raking out the old joints first. When all clear, apply a dry mix well brushed into the joints and then leave overnight for ground moisture to initiate setting process then finish off with a very fine and light spray next day to full moisten and complete the setting. That's how I successfully saw to a crazy paved sandstone pathway and I'm reckoning granite cobbles will be no different.
