Repointing - How To?

So I am looking to repoint a garden wall. Not attached to the house. I would like to do this myself, one to save money, but also just to learn a new skill.

Is there any training courses that would cover just this, like a one day thing? Or would it just be a YouTube deal?

I would prefer to get some proper guidance so I can do any future walls that may be needed too and to a good standard.

There are courses for lime pointing, not sure about cement pointing, but there probably are. Or look on youtube. Practice is the key thing. Getting the feel of the tools makes it easier.
