The right hand side of the Flexi looks as though it has a ballofix valve. There is a slot for a flat bladed screwdriver ,in the middle of it. Turn it with a screwdriver 1/4 turn to open. When finished make sure it is returned fully to its original position. Can't see from your pic what's on the left side of the Flexi ,but I think it's just a non return valve, don't touch that . See how you get on with the right hand side only.
Make sure both ends of the Flexi are tightened up ,not loose , where they connect .
