Restore hearth tiles

I discovered these original hearth tiles underneath a 70s fireplace I pulled out. They had been covered in slate and so had mortar directly laid onto them, which I think was the cause of this orangey burn which has eroded off the glaze.

Is there any way to restore them? I dont want them to repaint so they look new


 
Thanks but they don't require cleaning. The mortar is all removed but looks like it has actually burnt away the black glaze.

I imagine the solution would be some kind of new glaze or new colour treatment?
 
Personally I'd be inclined to look at reclaimation yards first to see if you can find a match and if not I'd then look at replacement rather than any kind of surface treatments.
