In my house I have a mosaic effect tiles in the entrance/hallway right through to the kitchen. These are original tiles from when the house was built in the 30’s.

They look wonderful & act as one of the features of the house as many neighbours removed them & now kicking themselves … hahaha

They are reddish orange with borders of black and white. Sounds naff but really looks good.

Anyway back to my question….
Is there any way of polishing these tiles? (Removing ‘age’ stains back to original condition) I was thinking of using renting one of those stand up circular polishers they use in schools/offices?

thanks,

Antonio.

you can polish some tiles with linseed oil,but first you have to find out what they are.
