Hello all,

The area around our front door frame is somewhat cracked as you can see in the pictures attached. I'm looking at whether I can have some fun and attempt to restore it myself or if I should hire a professional.

What might be involved if I do it myself? I don't see this particular thing covered much online (usually people talk about just refurbishing the door itself and/or the wooden frame). I'm imagining something like stripping back the paint and sealant, filling the cracks, re-sealing and re-painting. I don't think it's lime render but I'm not 100% sure without chipping the paint back further.

Many thanks for your help!

Jof
