Retaining wall

Looking for ideas and suggestions for a retaining wall in my garden. Its 15m long and 0.5m high I plan on putting a fence above this probably just a wire fence. I was thinking of sleepers or gabion baskets but wondered if there was a cheaper or easier option out there. Any advice welcome.

Sleepers is probably cheapest and very easy to diy but have a limited lifespan.

Gabions can be good but you need very good ac ess as the material needed to fill them is significant.

Other options are dry stack mortarless walls, or full normal. masonary
 
Cheers I'll have a look at dry stack walls never heard ov them before. Also seen tyre retaining walls which could be a cheap way of doing it.
