I thought that too but I checked a while ago and they're Wylex now, at least online

Since, as we now know, it's actually a Wylex board, then the Wylex ones (whatever they are branded) would presumably be fine for the OP?

I did read somewhere a while back, (it may have been on here) that it is advisable to replace breakers with the same make.

I'll have to take one out and compare against a Wylex at B&Q.

I don't understand why the old fuses were replaced with GE breakers and not Wylex, no doubt one of you bright sparks (pun intended!) can shed some light on it.

Was proberly fitted with wylex rewirables, and the owner brought the GE breakers on a visit to B+q thinking theyd be more convenient than faffing round with fusewire

I theory the whole fuse box should be fitted with wylex circuit breakers, but in your situation, fitting a wylex will be absolutely fine.
