We have a Sime Friendly boiler. The only controls we have are the dials on the front of the boiler to turn the temperature down and a clock dial with 'teeth' that you push in to set the timer. We would like to get a wireless thermostat fitted but would like advice as to whether this is possible - and if it is easy to diy or more a professional job?

Yes you can fit one.
Yes it is easy DIY as long as you are comfortable and safe to wire mains and can follow simple circuit diagrams
Have a look at the Honeywell CM927. I wouldn't say they are the best, but good value and easy to use

Thanks for the reply - thats really helpful. If we wanted to get someone in to fit the thermostat for us does anyone have any idea how much we should expect to pay roughly?
