Worcester Bosch 28i Junior, Digital timer, no thermostat

Hi all , i've just moved into a property which has a 28i Junior and a digital timer/programmer built into the front. There isn't a thermostat in the room.
Does the tuner/dial control the temperature on the front of the boiler ? If not how do I go about fitting a thermostat ?
