Hi, I am about to fix 12.5mm Knauf Soundboard plasterboard to C24 50x100mm studding, for a bathroom.

I read about this item (Reverse Thread Drywall screws):

So far I have been using these to fix to timber (Twin Thread Drywall):

Are the Reverse Drywall Screws a luxury or necessity, especially around a door opening.

The reverse threaded part is just under the head of the screw and the idea is that it helps to countersink the screw heads. I think the idea may work better when fixing timber but I an unconvinced of any additional advantages it brings to plasterboarding as I find the normal threads are fine.
Thanks, I am concerned Normal Twin Thread Screws might work loose over time with a door banging open and close, as its timber I'm fixing too.

I believed the normal Twin Thread Drywall screws are designed to screw into the metal studding ?
