Hello,

I purchased a 5m led strip lights from LEDHUT and would like to fit them in my garden under a coping stones flower bed on either side.

The strip light has 4 wires thin wires and I've purchased a led 12v transformer for 80w.

I would like to fit the transformer inside the garage so would need to extend the wires approx 5m, what wire do I use for this being in the garden? Also how to I connect the 4 wires to the 12v power supply?

Thanks

From what I read you can buy ready made leads. Likely on wire is common and other 3 are red, Green, Blue I expected to see some device that goes between power supply and strip light to vary the colours,

the indoor versions have connectors shown, and normally a controller

to vary the colour, I suggest you phone LED hut and ask direct.

If the strip is RGB ( and 4 wires suggest it is ) then you will need an RGB driver module between the 12 volt power supply and the LED strip.

The driver will need to be one that has the correct outputs for the strip. There are several different types of RGB LED strip.

Thanks guys i need the driver bit!

Any ideas on what kind of cable i can use to extend this by 5m?
