You share enough information for a clear picture to be formed. I am statistically safe, in betting that I pay substantially more taxes than you and probably have for the last 20 years. I don't complain that those who earn millions can find ways to reduce their substantial tax bill. I acknowledge that they are already paying vastly more than their fair share and I wish them luck. We never hear you arguing for a lifetime ISA cap?One might ask why you are so fretful about whatever tax you fantasise I do or don't pay.
The rules are public knowledge anyone can benefit or not benefit. Just like those who don't use their ISA allowance. You concern is fuelled by wealth jealousy. However, my concern is for fairer and more equable tax, and doing away with loopholes and easy rides.
Are you a top rate tax payer, do you have substantial income that you want to convert to capital to reduce your tax? Perhaps you want to secure a tax free loan as income using your capital as collateral. No it's fairly clear that you don't fit in that category and never have, which is why you are obsessed with attacking those who are.You seem obsessed with the idea that people who want tax to be fairer must be motivated by self interest.
no - you want others to pay for the things you want for free.We are not all like you.
