hi,
I\\\'m preparing a concrete floor for tiling. I have it cleaned back to the original concrete (it\\\'s a new build, late 1980\\\'s).
I have noticed there is a ridge in the concrete that is big enough to cause a problem when trying to put the tiles down flat and true.
However, as it is a small ridge in a small kitchen (the ridge is about three feet long, and proud by about 2-3mm). I am considering ways to grind it flat
(I shall be double checking to see whay there is a ridge here - such as a pipe etc begore doing anything)
Whilst considering what to do, is it feasible to consider trying to grind down the ridge - rather than bring the whole floor up to the level of the ridge. If so, how should I approach this - what equpiment is recommended?
I\\\'d appreciate any advice -
with thanks
