Riello RDB1 skips a beat

Boiler's a Grant Vortex 26e and I've never noticed this before. But twice now! Select heating or DHW, pump goes through start cycle, boiler fires, then a minute or so later the burner noise changes for a second or so, as if the fuel's not burning momentarily, then re-ignites and continues until target temp's reached.

Could this be rubbish in fuel, or anything else spring to mind, or should I not be so paranoid?
