Hi, Risco lightsys 2 with elegant keypad. Engineer programming has 'quick keys' to skip through menus. There is a symbol of a white star in a black symbol for some menus, ie 831(then this symbol) 02. Does anyone know what or where this is to be found on the keypad. I can't find any info. Sorry if thei is a nieve question but it's doing my head!
Thanks in anticipation.

Without having a proper look I would guess it’s the key under the 7 on the elegant keypad. Not done one in a while.

Should be in programming manual

Thanks, but no luck, holding 7 down presents 'top/start' on display. I can't find any reference to symbol in programming info.

Then I would need to read through the manual or call tech support, like I say its been a while only ever had 3 of these on my books, 1 has gone to an enforcer, another didn't have the elegant keypad and the last one not heard from since back end of COVID. most of my Risco customers were on Agility 2/3, most of them have come off after Risco started charging for the app and obsoleting parts.

Unable to test it or go through the motions back at the office, so if it isn't in the manual then its not been included.

This is just for shortcuts?

Access the Installer Programming menu and select the main menu option that you
want to access.

Press the Quick Keys listed in sequence (from left to right) to locate the option
listed in the Parameter column and then press the unlock (disarm)/OK key

don't see that key specifically other than the light sys2 flip style keypad and Panda keypad.

but do see an unlock key on the elegant keypad and the tick key which I would guess are the neareast equivalents but my not work.

couldn't see anything in the manual, but not gone through it thoroughly.

so the back button enter code then tick gets you into the menus, typing the numbers in does that get you to where you need to be?

Yes up until this mysterious symbol. I am going to abandon this journey, not worth it as I can plough through the menu system. It just bugged me that this 'way in' appears to be unavailabe to me. Not important , I thank you for taking the trouble to answer me but please don't waste any more time on my trivial pursuit. Cheers.

yes can only find it on two keypads the panda and the phone flip style one, looks like combo key (unlock a/ok) and the elegant keypad has more keys.
