RJ11 cable

From the front room where the bt master socket is i run a telephone extension cable to the back room about 40ft away through this cable using a filter i am on broadband as well.I want to run a rj11 cable instead but would need to cut it to come up through the floor boards whats the best way to rejoin the rj11 again?

RJ11 is actually the name of the jack rather than the cable (registered jack)

you can rejoin telephone calbe with something like this

or by using jelly crimps, but the jelly crimps should be in a fire rated enclosure if to be used indoors
