Hi

after a little advise really, next summer i want to block pave the front garden to extend my shared drive and make another couple of packing spaces. anyway this will require my removing half of my front wall to allow a better swing angle when driving up the drop curb. in front of the wall i want to remove is the road name sign, anyone know how i go about getting this moved? and are there a regs as such?

thanking you in advance

Paul

Your local borough/district council will deal with this so contact them. There are no Regs per se afaik.

dont forget you are now required to consider drainage in some if not all areas when you convert a draining area into a non draining surface for parking

another point they can refuse permission if your exit is too close to a road juction

worth working out if you have a way round it because the points i mention may come into play if you draw attention to your circumstance

the area i want to block pave has already got paving slabs covering it, also there is a drop curb already in place. But i will contact them and see what they say.

thank you
