Does your home insurance cover actual and collateral damage by insect or Rodents?
If not, and chewed cable leads to fire, should we hope the 'Brigade' turns a blind eye in favour of the homeowner...??

Ours does but only because an infestation survey was carried out (and paid for by us) as part of the mortgage application and the certification needs to be renewed every 10 years.

I've seen the damage field mice can cause to twin and earth and the consequences if they chew right through ... Scary!

Even though I adore all animals I have no problem baiting field mice in the home ... I adore my family more! (we live on Dartmoor National park and get quite a lot of mice).

We keep getting scillyshrew, their nice little critters but give off a bit of a smell, so I catch them live and move them out, they return after a month or two then I start again, they only eat insects so not too much of a problem.

Not content with living in a scenic place you have to have exotic rodents aswell!
