Hi All,

I want to paint wall with matt and obtain as smooth a finish as possible. Around sockets I want to use a mini roller. What normal and mini roller sleeve can people recommend that leaves the same finish. I assume I want short pile but not certain if sleeves from the same brand leave the same texture pattern.

Cheers
Daz

I cut in with a brush then mini roll the edge tight as I can.
When you finally roll wall with 12 inch or bigger roller you roll tight to edge as you can...
I don't think you need to match roller nap. I never have. I just can't see how it's that important..

If you want you could use Hamilton
Perfection Midi Roller Sleeve Medium 4"
Hamilton Perfection Roller Sleeve 12" Medium Pile

Two fussy blokes.... make matching big and mini rollers as well

Thanks for the reply @Wayners . My large roller is Wooster, my mini is some standard thing from Screwfix. Do the Two Fussy Blokes sleeves fit them do you know and also what nap size do I need?

Depends on paint but I tend to stick with a medium nap.
4mm nap is good for satin and gloss on doors.
Long pile rollers many like for ceilings to get plenty on keeping wet edge

I find it easier to just take the screws out, pull the face away and big roller the whole thing around a socket

They mostly wipe clean easy if you miss, as long as they aren’t some brass/brushed metal thing
