On a 1960s house, the front elevation has a plastic liner, and the back a felt/bitumen liner?

Is there any reason why they should be different? is it likely that one has been replaced?

Assume no tile issues, is there any need to replace the liner?

Is is likely that condensation forms on the liner?

It sounds like both sides have been redone at different times, they don't use that plastic stuff any more due to condensation issues but if you are not getting any problems then why do anything.

because some surveyor has "highlighted" it on a report, that it isnt to current standards, may" cause problems as usual arrse covering, but caused a buyer to run a mile!
