have a problem with my room stat. boiler does not turn off when temp. is reached and even the timer will not turn it off when it reaches time,can only turn off manually

Which boiler, which programmer, what type of system do you have, are there any motorised valves ????

Is it a recent thing..Its not the boiler overrun?
