Hi All,
I've been doing some work on the fascias and soffits of our 1920's semi and have noticed that the felt under the tiles has rotted in places where it overhangs into the guttering.
The roof was renewed 30 odd years ago with ridged cement tiles. Before that it was slate and is pretty steep.
Is the rotted felt a cause for concern? The roof is other wise sound and i'm reluctant to go round and replace all the rotted felt unless absolutely necessary.
No noticeable leaks into the roof by the way.
