my missus has set her heart on some wallpaper thats £65 a roll, gulp. The wall that needs this paper is 12' long x 90 high. The wall is sound and roller painted with emulsion in the past (no existing wallpaper).

What price should I look at paying for someone who knows what they're doing to paper this wall using the paper I'm supplying?

Many thanks......

This is the sort of wall that could be done reasonably quickly in less than half a day. It all depends on what the decorator will be charging in your area. Could be anything from £60 to £120 a day maybe more in the south.

Spot on Growler, with paper that price its probably a dead cert that it needs it. Some of the more expensive papers are "Carp" and may shrink. The lining will help to eliminate this. I would insist on this.

thanks guys. I think around £300 inc paper for a small wall is a bit too much for me - I shall have to change the wifes mind, maybe a trip round B&Q would be a good idea
