Hi All
I have acquired a Trenchrover 110 ROV which has been stowed in a shed for over 2 years and the previous owner cannot remember whether it worked correctly before being shedded.
Both batteries in the workstation and ROV are dead, but that is the least of my problems.
I have managed to strip down the ROV from its pressure vessel without too much difficulty, and applied 12v dc to both units.
The problems appear to be:
1. Lever control of the up/down thrusters appear to be over sensitive as when levers are all at neutral position, thrusters tend to flicker.
2. Workstation monitor not showing a correct image. Suspect monitor as the camera power led is correct.

The ROV is showing manufacture by www.thor-robotics.com, but when searching online, the address does not seem to exist.
There must be a setting to work manual for the ROV as there are several internal switches which appear to manage the multi-channel arrangement for the thrusters. The workstation also has a user monitor which appears to show various test options, but I just cannot fathom out how to use it as there are several switches/buttons which all have an input to the screen.

Something to ponder over :(

Cheers All

Doug
