this is a question from a female friend. Her window mechanism seems to be broke on her drivers side window. She has electric windows but the window only goes up to about 3 inch from the top then goes lobsided. its only happening on that 1 window, is this the mechanism or is it something completely different? any ideas on cost too.

Sounds like a broken mechanism.
Whip the door card off and have a look to see whats happening!

money on it being one of the plastic clips that hold the window the the mech its quite common for them to break
