Rover 75 cam belt change

My dads got a rover 75 estate (02) and wanted to know when to get the cam belt changed. Any ideas?

not having one, what does the owners manual say

He doesn't seem to beable to find the info in the owner manual. He asked at a garage and they said at 90k but that seems too high. I read most car have them changed around 30-60k.

all i can suggest is ask another garage, get the haines manual or change it anyway

15000 intervals, or till he needs spare parts, whichever is soonest.

autodata suggest 90,000 miles or 6 years, whichever comes first. doesn't look too difficult a job...

I`m only guessing, but 40k There`s a dealers in Sussex...been doing Rover`s since Adam was a boy...CAFFYNS..they may even have a website, they are big........and someone should know, for the price of a phone call

The cdt and cdti have a chain so no need to change it.
