Having done an internet search and discounted the S&M suppliers I can't seem to find what I am looking for and wondered if it had a specific name.

I have built the kids a wooden play house/slide/swing etc. and want to cover the bolt heads with rubber covers to stop them hurting themselves if the catch them. I have recessed them but would feel happier if they were covered.

Does anyone know of a proper name or a stockist?

Thank you

Nic

You probably don't want nut covers, more likely you are thinking about domed nuts

If you want a completely flush way of doing this then I'd suggest Scan dowel fixings which are completely flush, but do require planning in the design

Rubber nut covers - S&M  The mind boggles

Cheers chaps.

Scrit, I had discounted dome nut covers as they are still metal, was looking for a softer surface if (and when) one of the catches it.

freddymercurystwin,

They look to be the items, will need a mixture of both, the fixings to the metal (foundation) brackets are exposed and the insert bolt covers should sort the recessed ones out.

Thanks for your help.
