Hi all as above aeg frost free freezer . Every few months the heater element in the freezer gets totally caked over in ice and the temp alert beep goes off .. had to use hair dryer to Melt . Problem solved for a bit . My question is is replacing the heater element a diy job ? I can source the part thanks

yes but is it the heater thats faulty
or the module or the thermal fuse or a sensor or the door not sealing and so on
