I've just trawled the net for a recap. I am appalled at what he did and his subsequent actions.

I stick by my argument that we shouldn't glorify anyone who attacks him.

Beyond that, I am further appalled at my lack of emotional intelligence and stupidity. I am so very sorry and withdraw. I am sorry if I have upset and angered anyone by any of my comments.

I said we could understand the motivations for it..I also said they would be tried as murderers....and i ASKED with a '?' if it is possible to kill someone without being mentally ill.

I fully understand that, it is a terrible crime. I don't understand why you are apologising to people who are as affected by this as you are for a very relevant and honest opinion.

Neither of us have condoned what he did, but it is our respect for human life which causes us to believe that murdering him back does not fix it.

I'd hate to think you'd felt the need to keep stum in order to appease people.

I see, well I would have disagreed, the crime for me is the worst part. IF you believed his hugely unlikely story of how they died (by accident) you can almost understand (not forgive) the ruthless disposal of the bodies....but the murder of the girls is the worst thing...

Because you're always trying to debate with me on something I am not claiming to be true.

OK, do you think there would be the same kind of media frenzy/interest if it were two 10 year old boys?

I know for example that if they were say..8 years older, it would be a big difference, but was wondering peoples opinions.

I, personally am in two minds...I think the outrage for child murders is pretty much the same for both sexes (baby P being a big example) but there is an age when a female's murder is more tragic...what age is that to you?
