I want to take the door way out up to the ceiling. A steel beam sits across the room and sits into the wall right of the doorway.

The brick above the doorway isn't supporting anything directly above and just exposes the underneath of the stairs.

Can l remove the doorway and brick above just level with and up the right side of the door lining without any problems?

Yes if the bricks can be taken out one by one with nothing being supported by them. But be careful around where the beam lands, see if a padstone’s there and stay well clear of it
