Hi. My first time here. Hopefully I can get some help with this little problem.

I have a sagging front door. I have to lift it up to close it. Is it possible to fix it so it can close easily?

thanks

Take the two little circular caps off and turn the bolt with an allen key, it will only turn +/- 180 degrees and will shift the hinge pin over to the wall, I can see from the picture its set so its pushed over to the lock side.

The second caps to remove are the ones under the hinge pin, use an allen key clockwise, turn and watch the door rise, keep trying the door as you go

Hi Crank39

Thanks for the reply. I did turn the bolt. It moves towards the middle but then snaps back to the edges. It seems to me that may be the hinges is broken. The hinge mechanism seems to be out of place (as seen in the pictures).

What is the name of this type of hinge?

Thanks

The pin not being in the centre is the whole point of an adjustable hinge, the 2 Allen bolts move the pin sideways, yours is already at one extreme and the bolts need turning to move the pin the other way(towards the wall away from the lock side), the pin looking offset is normal, it just wants to be wound over to the other side

The hinges by the way are Laird challengers
