Hi all,

What are these boards called that are sagging/falling off in the photo? Sarking boards?

It's been pretty damp in my loft previously which has caused it, the house is 40 years old but I just moved in last year. The chipboard sheets have dried out all bent now, so I don't think I'd be able to force them back up without them breaking.

Can they be replaced from the loft? Or would the roof need to be stripped back for that?

I was wondering if I could slot in slightly narrower boards then put battons on the rafters to support them?

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers
