Anybody out there just fed up of nursing their salamander pump?

Just pulled mine out due to litany of problems-- all my fault according to supplier!

Just installed a grundfos which just feels like a proper pump when lifting it from box!

Would never reccomend a salamander

What problems did you have ? I've just fitted one (3 months ago) to feed two showers and the customer thinks its the dogs.

Firstly it was the av hose leaking at joint - put down to the fact it was not dead straight

Then it was seals - put down to water starvation

finally - dry run coming on and not resetting

all too delicate for my liking with an opt claus for the warranty in every situation

offered a pump at 45% off list price including vat

can get one delivered for less than that!
