salamander rhp75 whole house pump

Hi,
My salamander pump seems to be faulty, When i turn the taps on the pump hums but there is no pressure just a trickle and goes of when i switch the taps off.
Any ideas?

As stated, sounds like a jammed/seized impeller, don’t attempt to run it or you will permanently damage the motor if it hasn’t already done so. It must be stripped & examined internally; you may be lucky & get away with it or it may be uneconomical to repair, depends on what’s happened.

Thanks for your replys, I kind of thought it was seized.Anyway i stripped it down and it is defo goosed, time for a new pump.thanks again
