can anyone help me with this thermostat, i know how to set the timer and turn on and off using temperatures but can you use this thermostat without the timer, ie i am going to work weekend and all my times are different from that of the week i would rather just use it as and when i wish i dont want to leave it on all day and just want to turn it on 'constant' when i am at home as i go to bed different times over weekend, it seems i can only use along with time settings, can anyone help?

The Salus does not allow overrides except to the next timed programmable event. So, it will not (easily) do what you want it to.

so what would i put on to use it all day?

Something with either a permanent override function, or an override for 'n' days or hours. This is the sort that I always fit. Email me if you want a price for one.

Can anyone explain in basic terms what this all means;
Salus Programmable thermostat rt500rf
Press the up and down arrows on thermostat when reviewing setpoint temperature to enter Manual Override Mode the setpoint temperature is increased or decreased by 0.5c accordingly.
In normal mode press up and down arrows to display the setpoint temperature . After 2 seconds the thermostat will enter manual override mode and start fast advance in 4hz. If buttons are released within 2 seconds without entering manual override mode this is treated as reviewing setpoint temperature only.
The theromostat is with my central heating and i am trying to work out how to use it without timer if this is it i dont understand it as they have wrote it! Help.
