Samsung fridge freezer rsa1wtmh1 not cooling/freezing

Evening all.

I have a Samsung American style fridge freezer rsa1wtmh1 model and it’s suddenly stopped cooling in both fridge and freezer compartments. I noticed that the compressor and condenser were very hot to touch and the condenser fan was not spinning. I’ve done a reset and it’s displaying a fault code on the digital display which refers to the condenser fan. I’ve checked the fan to make sure it spins and is free of obstructions which it is and I’ve took the fan motor out and tested with separate 12v power supply and it spins ok but I still have the fault when I put it back in and plug it in. I’ve even purchased a new fan motor to try and the fridge runs however the fan doesn’t come on. The compressor and condenser overheats again and then displays the same fault code.

Any pointers would be appreciated as I’m scratching my head now.
