Samsung Galaxy J4+/Alcatel

I have a Samsung Galaxy J4+ and My Wife has an Alcatel Phone. What I don't understand is that I use the Galaxy-J4+ Diary app and entries Generate a Notification on the day the entries are relevant. What is odd is that my wife's phone also gets these notifications and I dont know how this occurs or how I can stop them appearing on my wife's phone. I have looked around all of the settings on both phones and can't find anything relevant.
Has anyone any ideas as to how I can fix it.

That is the answer to my issue.
In my ignorance, I thought the Diary was phone specific and consequently the diary entry would be specific to the phone and not the Google account. Thanks so much for your time.
