I have a small area of floor (1.5sqm) to raise by 20mm. Its fairly flat and level concrete. If it were a large area, I would use a screed for sure - its the proper solution and cheaper. In this case, I think I would use more wet than dry mix given the thin layer?? However, some of the better brand SLCs (Ultra, Ardex, BCA Multi) claim to be good up to this depth and beyond and this might be the easier option for such a small area. I guess the downside with laying such a thick SLC will be it wont flow so well and maybe a lot of trowelling needed? Im torn between the two options...any suggestions? thanks

speak in english so other understand (slc/ self leveling compound!) ;)

You need a filled mix really! (chippings plus compound) fill to about 3-5mm below what you need then one nice full skim over the top.
