Hi there - I'm putting the finishing touches to some tortion box shelves... the 6mm MDF face strip I've glued on the front of each shelf overlaps with the underside by about 1mm and the cut edge itself is slightly uneven due to having been hand cut.

what is the best way of sanding this flush? just use a high grit sanding block or is there some special trick i might be missing?

cheers!

Use a finely set block plane and finish up with sandpaper on a block. I'd start with 80 or 100 grit and finish off with 120.
